Embedding an interactive data report into your PowerPoint presentation delivers more data visualization and exploration capabilities right in the flow of your presentation. Here's how it is done:

Step 1

Publish your Juicebox report. If you choose to publish in "public" mode, the viewers of your PowerPoint presentation won't need to sign in to Juicebox to see what you created.

Tip: Consider removing the header of your Juicebox report (see the 'Header Style' area in the Designer) to have the charts show without any need for scrolling on the slide.

Step 2

Install the Microsoft Web Viewer Add-in for PowerPoint. It is free and installs in a flash. Without this add-in, PowerPoint won't allow you to embed web-based content in a slide.

Step 3

Select the Web Viewer Add-in from the PowerPoint editing ribbon and paste in the public URL for your Juicebox report.

Tips:

  • Once your Juicebox report has been shared, you can copy the URL link from the Share tab in Juicebox.

  • Web Viewer assumes the "https://" part of the URL, so you need to remove that portion of the URL when you paste it in.

  • You can resize the Web Viewer area that shows the Juicebox report. Make it wide and tall enough to show the content effectively.
