A map combines information about where items are located with what or how much data about those items. Map visualizations can reveal insights about:

  1. Clusters of activities/items in certain locations;

  2. Geographic regions with higher or lower performance;

  3. Correlations between geographic location and performance values (e.g. people tend to live near water).
